Polyurethanes, silicones and epoxides have proven their worth in restoration work and mold making. The products allow delicate patterns to be reproduced that are true to detail. The production is conducted with solid or jacket forms: Solid forms resist reproducing large amounts, jacket forms are suited for molds with complicated details.

 

POLYURETHANE-ELASTOMERS

Polyurethane-elastomers are suited as forms for cement-bound materials such as concrete, mortar and plaster. They harden at room temperature and are heat-resistant up to 65° Celsius.

SILICONE-ELASTOMERS

Silicone-elastomers are applied to slightly moist bases. They harden at room temperature, form delicate patterns accurately in every detail and in part, resist temperatures of up to 200° Celsius.

EPOXY RESINS

Epoxy resins serve as a bonding bridge, binding agent or as a seal. In addition, they are used in producing casts. Depending on the type, they can be easily machine finished.

RELEASE AGENTS

When working with polyurethane-elastomers,  release agents ensure that the form can be removed from the cast without problem. The release agents are also used in producing the replicas.

FILLERS

Fillers save material and weight in producing large molds. Mixed into epoxy resins, they are cast into the form or serve as a thickening agent, to make resin spreadable with a spatula.

SUPPLEMANTARY PRODUCTS

Color paste and thickeners make working with silicone mold-making materials a lot easier. For an optimal processing, mold making paste can be colored or adjusted to be spreadable by brush or spatula.
