Washing Depths

Our acidification products permit nano- and micro washing outs or rather acidification up to 0.05 millimeter in fresh and old concrete. With deactivators, washing outs ranging from 0.1 to more then 2 millimeters are feasible. You can find details on the washing depths in our brochure on surface retarders

Products

Negative Process (N)

01

The retarder is sparingly and evenly applied to the form with a paint roll or a sprayer.

02

After a short drying period (15 to 60 minutes) the concrete can be poured.

03

As a general rule, the elements can be washed out after 18 to 24 hours.

04

The minimum duration for the elements remaining in the form is at least 8 hours.

05

The washing out is most simply carried out with a high-pressure cleaner. Dry brushing out and subsequent washing is possible.

Positive Process (PV)

01

The concrete element is cast, the form is removed, and the element is smoothed.  Possible water puddles must evaporate.

02

The retarder is applied in one, well coating layer on the absolutely fresh concrete.

03

After the application, the concrete dries for 1 to 3 days.

04

As soon as the concrete solidifies, the form is removed.

05

The washing out is most simply carried out with a high-pressure cleaner.

Acidification (CEMGEL)

01

The undiluted gel is applied with a brush, water or sprayer on to the fresh concrete which is first moistened with water.

02

After the application, the product reacts with the concrete. The CemGel is distributed until it no longer foams.

03

The concrete element is subsequently throroughly sprayed with water.
