FORMLINER peeks into one of the best concert halls in Europe, delves into the two hot topics of digital construction and urban development in Berlin, and reports on new developments in building with concrete, as well as news from RECKLI.
This second edition of the RECKLI magazine FORMLINER is defined by a new structure and practical case studies. The magazine now features topics that change every year within set sections: each topic will be approached by focussing on a building, processes and people. For instance, FORMLINER reports on the 2 Girls Building in Melbourne, recounts the creative artistic process behind working with epoxy resin for sculpture, and portrays the work of famous Japanese acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota. FORMLINER also concentrates on the hot topics of digital and city:Berlin, looking at the construction trends of tomorrow as well as building developments in the German capital.
FORMLINER has spoken with architects, developers, artists and city planners, including Volker Staab and Zanderroth Architekten, the Australian photographer Samantha Everton, and the Berlin Senate’s Construction Director Regula Lüscher.
On the green chapter separators, FORMLINER also showcases RECKLI products and the company itself. FORMLINER takes the reader to the RECKLI Technikum, where chemists constantly test product quality and research eco-friendly release agents. The new Made By section, now in each issue, includes profiles on the designers that create new patterns exclusively for RECKLI. The RECKLI global separator introduces our branch in the UK.
The chapter separators stand out with a color and texture that differ from the rest of the magazine, helping the reader to easily find their way and creating a conscious contrast to the bright white pages in Circle Silk Premium White - the brightest white achievable using recycled paper. Both papers are high-quality recycled papers; the white pages feature the Blue Angel logo and the EU eco seal.
FORMLINER is released annually and reports on construction sites and developments from the world of architectural concrete from all around the globe. The Essen-based communication agency ONEWORX is responsible for the conception and realization of the magazine.
