We would like to extend our warm welcome to Deniz Akkus!
She has been supporting the marketing team around Lutz Hammer since the beginning of March, focusing on online and digital marketing. We also asked Deniz a few questions to find out a little more about her.
How did you end up at RECKLI?
I was looking for a new challenge and regularly searching for the right position. I came across the job offer at RECKLI, and it really struck me. The position involved a wide range of tasks that sounded really exciting to me. I didn’t have to think twice and applied right away.
What does RECKLI mean to you?
It's especially important to me that I can work in a medium-sized company – like RECKLI! I quickly realized that everyone communicates with each other as peers here, and respect is part of the company culture. Before starting, I did a lot of research and read a lot about the warm welcome new employees get. And I found it was completely true on my first few days.
What makes the perfect position for you?
It’s important to me that I can be myself at work. Besides fun and enjoyment, open communication is also crucial. I also want to be challenged and constantly evolve so I can move the business and myself forward. This motivates me to work closely together in a team and to feel comfortable with my colleagues.
Are you familiar with the construction industry?
My first experience in construction was during my internship in Istanbul. That's were I learned about facade systems. Now I’m looking forward to implementing and deepening what I’ve learned so far.
How do you like spending your free time?
I like jogging, being out in the fresh air or reading a book as a balance to work. I also like to cook dishes from around the world with my friends.
