RECKLI was honored with a German Brand Award for Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation in the Brand Communication category for its digital magazine FORMLINER.
RECKLI is proud to receive the German Brand Award: the FORMLINER magazine was awarded in the Brand Communication: Storytelling and Content Marketing category under Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation. The top-class expert panel honored RECKLI’s FORMLINER magazine as a unique brand.
FORMLINER is the architectural concrete and façade design magazine by RECKLI. Its fourth edition was published as an online magazine for the first time in 2020. Dedicated to the theme of “upheaval”, this edition sheds light on reform in architecture.
The magazine is constructed around current, relevant stories about architecture, façades and concrete. The fourth edition is concerned with climate-friendly architecture, the homes of the future and new, resource-conserving forms of concrete. FORMLINER focuses on architects’ affinity for design and works with bright colors, a clean font design, large-format images, floorplans and renderings.
The format won over the jury at this year’s German Brand Awards and stood out among more than 1,100 submissions from 17 countries. The jury included independent and interdisciplinary experts from the worlds of business, economy, consulting, service and agencies. They choose winners based on aspects such as brand perception, standing out from the competition and individuality. Factors such as brand presence, design quality, homogeneity of brand experiences and economic success play a decisive role in the judging process.
The German Brand Institute was brought to life by the German Design Council and the GMK Markenberating consultancy. The German Design Council is an impartial, international institution that supports companies in their design and brand communication with the aim of improving the understanding of design among the wider public.
FORMLINER has been published by RECKLI since 2015. The Essen-based communications agency ONEWORX is responsible for the design and implementation of the magazine.
