The RECKLI team continues to grow!
Since May 1st , the RECKLI team has added one more member to its team.
Benjamin Darge has been assisting our IT department and colleagues in all matters related to computer technology. We asked him a few questions and eagerly awaited his answers.
What are your tasks at RECKLI?
I am responsible for the operation, maintenance and further development of RECKLI's IT infrastructure. Besides that, user support is also one of my tasks.
What is your perception of your first weeks?
The first weeks at RECKLI have been super. I have been very warmly received and have been seamlessly integrated into IT. The first project, the purchase of a new server and the migration to it, has already been successfully completed. All in all, I can say that it has been a very good start with my new role.
What makes RECKLI stand out for you?
Dealing with one another has been at eye level right from the start. I realized right from the very first interviews with Oliver Nixdorf, and the first job interview, that things were a little different here. The open, direct and honest approach immediately convinced me. And, from the start my colleagues were just great. I was warmly welcomed in every department and was given the feeling that I now belong to the RECKLI family, and that I would always be able to find a contact person for any questions. I have never experienced this in this form with any other employer.
What did you do before you started with us?
Before I came to RECKLI, I worked in the IT department of a metalworking company in Mönchengladbach. But as it turned, my fiancée lives in Dortmund and owns a house, so I had to find a new job. And that new job was then at RECKLI.
Does IT interest you in your spare time?
I'd say that's varied over time. Of course I keep up to date with new developments in the technology sector. But the times when I tinkered around with my home computer, are over. Now, I really enjoy having IT free time (which is quite hard, because nowadays you're always in contact with IT
