By washing the concrete surface, the cement is rinsed off and the aggregate exposed. This gives the surface a unique optical effect that is also non-slip. Deactivators and acidifiers can be used to create washed concrete. Both products offer a range of washing depths, a homogenous washed finish and short drying times as well as eco-friendly and economic use. Washed concrete for surface textures can be created in a positive or negative process. RECKLI offers the right surface retarders for both processes - CR type N or CR type PV.
Our products for the acidification of concrete surfaces facilitate nano and micro washing and/or acidification up to 0.05mm in new and old concrete. With deactivation, washing from 0.1 to 2 mm can be realized in exposed concrete. You can find details about washing depths in our brochure on surface retarders.
